I saw that there was a group formed in AMARILLO, TX and I just had
to stop by and say HALLELUIA!! :-)
I went to high school in Amarillo and left for college and never
returned except to see my parents a few times (they just moved to NM
a couple of months ago). I have recently reconnected with quite a
few old classmates after 15 years and it seems that if someone in
the family doesn't work for a church, they are at least mega-church
goers with a very ultra-literal-Christian attitude. It freaks me out
a little. OK, it freaks me out a lot.
I am really so totally elated to see this free thought group form in
Amarillo. It gives me hope in the world that there are rational
thought groups popping up everywhere.
